Hello! I'm Linda Huang, a licensed, professional Mandarin teacher from China with over 8 years of experience and the founder of Fluent Mandarin Chinese. My students hail from more than 50 countries worldwide. My mission is simple: to make learning Chinese genuinely easier and more effective.

Why Is Mandarin Actually "Easy"?

It's often called one of the world's hardest languages. I'm here to change that mindset! Here’s a glimpse of why it can be straightforward:

3. Manageable Sounds: The Pinyin system uses the alphabet. With about 400 possible syllables, you can pronounce any word.
4. Systematic Characters: They are not random drawings but built from logical components like radicals.
