About Mathilde

I am a business student currently based in Paris, but I get to move cities every year of my studies. My first language is French but I have mostly studied in an English environment as I passed an International and Bilingual Diploma.

During my years in high school, I got to help students with their English, especially essay writing. I helped students for 5 years.

I am quite used to teaching English and working with individuals all around the world.

I lived in France during my early years before leaving for South Korea and then coming back to France to start my higher education.

Teaching Method and Techniques:

I have a flexible teaching method that is tailored to the needs of the students. Some common techniques include active listening, demonstration, providing feedback, encouraging critical thinking, and using visual aids or multimedia. The goal is to make learning engaging and effective for the students.

Typical Lesson Plan:

A typical lesson plan includes a review of grammar rules and vocabulary, followed by practice exercises and conversation practice. I may also work with the student to improve their writing skills, by reviewing essays or other written work and providing feedback on grammar, syntax, and organization. The lesson plan is tailored to the specific needs of the student, taking into account their level of English proficiency and areas of weakness.

What Sets You Apart as a Tutor:

What sets me a tutor apart from others is my ability to understand the specific needs of their students and to develop a teaching approach that works for them. I will take the time to get to know my students, build a rapport with them, and create a comfortable learning environment.

Who the Lessons are for:

My English lessons can be tailored to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners. I can specialize in teaching specific skills, such as writing, pronunciation, or accent reduction. Additionally, my English lessons may be targeted towards specific groups, such as students preparing for exams, business professionals looking to improve their communication skills, or immigrants looking to improve their English for personal or professional reasons. I am open to any situation!
