About Alexandre
I am Alexandre, and I am a passionate and experienced French teacher. Being a native and having over 10 years + of teaching experience in the UK working with 11-18 year olds, I do my best to help motivated students excel on their French learning journey.
Originally from Paris, I studied English Literature, Civilisation, Linguistics, and Translation at University. I then moved to the UK, where I worked as a French Assistant in different High Schools and Sixth Form Colleges. Subsequently, I obtained my British Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) for Secondary French Teaching from Manchester Metropolitan University.
For the past 8 years, I have been teaching French A-Level at a renowned sixth form college working with 16-18 year olds.
I specialise in grammar, conversation practice, essay writing, and exam preparation. My lessons are personalised to suit each student's unique needs and goals.
