About Jorge
I am an Educator from Murcia, in Southern Spain, based in Dublin since 2020. I trained to become a Primary School Teacher and P.E. and did a Master’s Degree in Psychology of Education. Once I finished my Master’s, I decided to move to Ireland and pursue a career as an Educator. I currently work at an Early Years setting, in which I have had the opportunity to work with children aged from 0-5 and witnessed the language acquisition process that I find extremely fascinating. This interest is what pushed me towards studying a second Master’s Degree so I could become a Spanish teacher and help others become fluent in the language I love.

I can adapt my teaching methods according to my students' preferences and design individual plans based on interests and motivation. I believe each of us takes a different approach when it comes to language learning, which is why standard textbooks and exams might not work for everyone. I like to provide my students with a safe space in which they can contribute to their own learning. Working together on the lesson plans and goals of the language lessons is very important to me. I am really calm, patient, and easygoing, but I also know how to encourage my students to go the extra mile to achieve their goals!

Ich hatte das große Glück mit Jorge an meinen spanischen Grundkenntnissen arbeiten zu dürfen. Der Unterricht mit ihm war sehr angenehm. Jorge war geduldigt, wenn es nötig war und hat viele gute Aufgaben vorbereitet, so dass ich gute Fortschritte gemacht habe.
