About Thomas
I’ve been studying for exams throughout my education, and I’m now working towards qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. Having recently completed my degree and still sitting professional exams myself, I’m constantly developing and applying effective revision and exam techniques in my own studies.
Through this experience, I’ve found that one of the most effective ways to learn is to get ahead early and start practising exam-standard questions. This helps build both technical understanding and confidence, while also making the exam itself feel much more manageable.
I’d love the opportunity to pass on the knowledge I’ve built up through my studies and professional training, particularly my technical accounting knowledge and exam techniques. As I’m still going through the exam process myself, I can relate to the challenges students face and share techniques that I’m actively using in my own studies.

My approach to tutoring is focused on 'learning through doing'. I believe the best way to build confidence in Accounting is to understand the underlying concepts and then apply them to plenty of questions and exam-style scenarios.
Lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs. We can focus on specific topics they find difficult, work through questions together step-by-step, and gradually build towards completing questions independently under exam conditions.
Lessons can be 30, 60, 90 minutes or longer, depending on the student's preference and what works best for them.
I am a first-class Economics & Accounting graduate and part-qualified ACA accountant, currently completing my final Advanced exams. I offer tutoring to GCSE and A-Level Accounting students, with a focus on improving understanding, exam technique and confidence.
