About Mae
I am a final year MSci Chemistry student at the University of Bristol with extensive experience of supporting students with their learning.
I am responsible for the Peer Assisted Student Support Scheme at the University of Bristol, assisting first year chemistry students with challenging concepts of their course. As a senior support leader, I am also responsible for managing, recruiting, and training other student support leaders (tutors). I have had experience assisting students with their learning for over three years now. Prior to this, I have tutored younger students throughout my school years.
I have a proven academic record of 11A* at GCSE at Torquay Girls Grammar School and 41 points in the IB at Torquay Boys Grammar School. I am on track for a first class degree and have been fortunate enough to gain a position on one of the most competitive graduate schemes. Despite this, I am well aware that things do not always come naturally and I myself have benefited from the support of others throughout my education.
I am passionate about helping students with their learning. I also have experience helping students with dyslexia and ADHD. I enjoy building a rapport with students and gain a lot of satisfaction from their successes. I’d love to help you succeed so please do get in contact!
