About Jawwad
Hi! I’m Jawwad, a soon-to-be computer science student in Newcastle.
I completed my GCSEs back in 2024, passing all 11 subjects, and achieving grade 8 in both Mathematics and Computer Science.
Having loved these subjects so much, I continued them at A-Level, along with biology. This is where I found my true passion for computer science, and carried on to pursue it in my own time.
I have a variety of projects I’ve created in my own time, from websites, to apps, to games.
At the core, computer science and maths fall hand-in-hand. I aspire to spread this passion and make students exceed in maths and computer science.

My approach: exam focused.
As a top-achieving student in GCSEs, and continuing to do maths and computer science in A-level and even computer science at university, I know what is essential for achieving the top grades. My goal is to reduce frustration and pitfalls in STEM subjects. I aim to make every lesson engaging, intuitive and structured.
How a lesson will be structured:
- Break down core concepts: The foundation to learning anything is starting from the bottom, removing any excess and boiling it down to the real core concepts rather than just memorising words.
- Guided problems: Tackling frequent hardships around a subject, and avoiding common mistakes. Working through examples together as a stepping stone to being able to do them independently.
- Exam technique: Absolutely quintessential to achieving those top grades, and where most students tend to lose many marks. It reinforces patterns and habits that force exam boards to give you marks. I have dealt with every major exam board (AQA, Pearson, OCR, Eduqas) and know the patterns each of them prefer.
- Active recall: Scientifically backed by many sources to be the best way of learning. This provides the student with confidence in the topic, and retains the information in their long term memory; ready to complete problems independently in their free time or even in the exam.
