About India
My name is Indie, I moved over from Holland when I was twelve years old. I had an incredibly hard time learning how to write and transition into the English language and school curriculum. I was never able to do my eleven plus due to my lack of knowledge in the English language. While this led me to a non-selective school for GCSE I was able to study my A levels at a Grammar school.
In my experience I have found that the education system really does not allow for individuals to use their own ways of learning. Personally, I have always struggled with the ways in which the curriculums were set.
I don't believe in the way the system is set up. And I have made it my mission to prove that the most misunderstood individuals simply have their own unique way of learning. I have made it my mission to explore and find ways to teach depending on your personal way of learning.
I love what I do, and I make it my mission to show other students that the system you have been placed in can work to your advantage in ways you could never have expected. I do not believe that some people are made to be successful while others are not, I believe that every person just needs to find their individual way.

Hello! I'm an online tutor offering supportive, structured lessons in GCSE English and Sociology, tailored to each student's individual needs, learning style and academic goals.
Having studied A-level English Language and Literature, Sociology and Politics, I have a strong academic foundation in these subjects and an understanding of the demands of GCSE and A-level study. I aim to make learning clear, engaging and manageable, helping students strengthen their subject knowledge, develop effective revision techniques and approach examinations with greater confidence. I strive to make every lesson suited to each individual's needs as well as their best way of learning.
My lessons focus on building a solid understanding of the curriculum, improving written communication, developing exam technique and identifying areas where students need additional support. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and working at their own pace.
