About Aleesha
My name is Aleesha and I am currently a student at Queens University studying Biomedical Sciences with the hope to pursue Medicine in future. As an A-level student I completed Biology, Geography, Chemistry and Sociology at AS level.
My grades in both Biology and Geography A level were an A and at GCSE I got an A* in both.
In school I was selected as an anti-bullying mentor and I have been elected to be on student council for 3 of my years within my time in school. I was also elected as a senior prefect which I really enjoyed. I aim to simplify difficult concepts you are struggling with, and help you feel confident with the content in order to help prepare you for the exam.
Within University I am also elected as a peer mentor and was successful in my first year exams.

I can adapt my teaching style to a particular student's needs, for example if they are visual learners I will focus on using diagrams and notes, however I still would use an array of techniques that are interactive with the student.
The typical length of a lesson would range from 45 mins- 2 hours depending on the student's preferences and requirements. I received an A* grade in my Geography and Biology GCSE and an A at A level.
My lessons are designed for GCSE and A-Level pupils studying Geography and Biology. I can also help those in Year 10 who want to get ahead, benefiting them in their upcoming exams.
I have previous experience tutoring both GCSE and A-level students, as well as providing extracurricular AS Biology Classes in a school.

Aleesha has been a dedicated and trustworthy tutor. Her ability to explain complex topics clearly and patiently has really helped me. She is very reliable and goes the extra mile to help me!
Aleesha has always had a passion for Biology and she puts in a tremendous amount of effort to understand and learn the subject. She is a very respectful person who goes out of her way to help others when she can and has a talent of finding ways to teach and explain topics which may concern her students. She is very intelligent and has a great grasp of the syllabus as she is constantly reviewing the material and she is super approachable as she is non-judgemental and able to communicate effectively with students of all ages at all levels of learning.
Aleesha provided me with very helpful and useful information on biology, she taught me to understand it more clearly. This made me pass my gcse. Aleesha was an excellent tutor and I highly recommend!
