About Alexandra
Hiya there, I'm an au pair currently living in the south of France. I'm currently on a gap year working to earn some money to support myself when I go to uni to learn languages. I have grade 5 classical guitar and French horn, and I also achieved a Grade A in my Advanced Higher Music course (which is qualification offered in Scotland equivalent to the first year of uni usually taken in our last year of school education). I adore teaching specifically children how to play basic guitar - I taught two lovely girls an hour a week for a year before moving to France.

I tend to focus on a more relaxed, fun approach to teaching music. While it is important to learn proper technique and form, that doesn't mean it has to be tedious in a way that makes a student unmotivated - especially since learning guitar can be a little painful at first when building the calluses required to hold the strings down. I try to sneak in proper technique into my lessons while putting the focus into enjoying this beautiful instrument.
