About Elise
I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Inclusive Early Childhood Education. My licensure includes: birth to 3 early intervention, pre-k through 3rd grade intervention, pre-k through 3rd general education and additionally I have a generalist license in 4th and 5th grade, meaning I can teach 4th and 5th grade general education as well. My favorite subjects to teach are English and math, and my greatest strength is establishing positive relationships that help foster academic growth and positive self-esteem. I have taught 1st through 3rd grade special education as well as 3rd and 4th grade general education.

My lessons are fun, interesting and educational. I am an understanding, creative and empathetic individual. I have worked with students in and out of the classroom and seen great growth. With my experience in special education as well as general education, I have the perfect combination of knowledge to know how to create a plan for students who need tutoring. One of my greatest tutoring stories, is a 3rd grade boy who was behind in many areas and loved to goof around in class. His mom hired me to help him pass the 3rd grade reading guarantee. He passed with flying colors, as well as becoming a top student in his class. He is now in 5th grade and his teachers praise him for his work ethic! I have a strong passion for teaching, and consider it my greatest gift.
