About John Miguel
I'm John Miguel, a graduate of BS Civil Technology from Bicol University College of Industrial Technology. During my internship, I worked as a Student Trainee and CAD Operator at a Municipal Engineering Office, where I handled technical drawings and site work firsthand — experience that grounds my CAD lessons in real, practical application rather than just theory.
Teaching has always been part of who I am. I was given the opportunity by one of my professors to lead an actual CAD class session, and I've spent years tutoring kids in my community in reading, writing, and speaking both English and Filipino, along with basic math and life skills.
I believe in patient, clear communication and meeting each student at their own level. Whether you're a complete beginner or brushing up on specific skills, I focus on practical understanding you can actually use — not just memorization. I take my role as a tutor seriously and am committed to helping you reach your goals with professionalism and care.

I teach Tagalog, English, and CAD (AutoCAD and SketchUp), combining structured lessons with a lot of hands-on practice. My approach is patient and student-paced — I break down complex topics into simple steps, check understanding often, and adjust based on how each learner grasps the material.
For language lessons, a typical session covers reading, writing, and speaking practice, with real conversation exercises so students build confidence using the language naturally, not just memorizing rules. For CAD, I walk students through actual drafting tasks — from basic commands to full technical drawings — the same way I taught a CAD class session by casting my laptop to the classroom monitor.
What sets me apart is that I've taught across very different age groups and skill levels, from neighborhood kids learning to read and write to CAD trainees preparing for real engineering work, so I know how to meet each student where they are. My lessons are suited for beginners in Tagalog or English, students who want conversational fluency, and anyone starting out in AutoCAD or SketchUp for school or work.
