About Yadvendra
To become a Peer Specialist? I reach out to my peers in many different formats. The actual curriculum to become a Peer Specialist was pretty straight forward. For me the difficult part was understanding the processes of becoming certified. I was offered a volunteer position to aquire the experience to meet the qualifications for certification. Otherwise, I had to figure out the entire process on my own. It was extremely difficult to understand, especially when they changed the rules every few months. Normally I would expect administration to help employees navigate the process. But the company that I was working for was small to begin with. After I began working there the company literally shriveled up and died. I was practically running the show on my own at the end. While that was a huge challenge for my 1st 500 hours of experience, it was also an opportunity for massive growth. Not only did I learn the ins and outs of Substance Abuse Treatment from the Clinical and Administrative side of the desk. I also became the foremost expert in creating peer services in my area. To the point where I actually chose the perfect company to help create and develop the 1st Peer program that is instrumental to the recovery of our community. I plan to continue pushing forward until I can lead my own team of Peer Specialists. Because to me, peer work is some of the most powerful work that recovery needs to include.

Base of my experience I used a variety the teaching methods to attract students' attention and interest, such use media and methods that suitable to the student's needed, situations. used cooperative learning method it increases the student's attention and interest, they learn together, share ideas, and solve the problem with enjoyble with their friends in the classroom.
