About Rhyann
In my years of producing art in all sorts of mediums, my main love still lies with the act of drawing itself! Creating art has positive impacts on our mental wellbeing and I aim to provide students with the tailored tools and techniques with which they can enjoy drawing and creating with confidence.
I have exhibited in multiple exhibitions as a ceramic artist and am currently assisting with curation and research at an art gallery. My goal in life is to inspire love for art, through both academia and creating.

The most important thing about practicing art and enjoying yourself is confidence, no matter your skill level. Drawing is something you have to practice, people aren't simply born artistic geniuses.
To begin with I like to go through drawing exercises and gain an understanding of what the student enjoys and would like to technically progress with. As we move forward with this I also like to talk a bit about the history of a certain medium or style, in order to give a historical context to the type of art a student is producing. My primary goal is to keep the lessons relaxing and fun!
I have graduated with a First Class degree in Ceramics and am currently undertaking a History of Art postgraduate degree and a scholarship with a city gallery. My lessons can be tailored for any age, but as I have recently gone through the education system myself I would love to help out students that intend to go to art school with their confidence in drawing, as it is a skill that gets overlooked the further you get through education. I would also be happy to go assist students with applications to art schools and universities.
I have assisted with life drawing classes, though most of my successful experience so far has been with helping out peers that think they can't draw (everybody can!).
Lesson length would ideally be 1-2 hours.
