Graduate from California State University Dominguez Hills with a bachelors History and a masters degree in education from Grand Canyon University.

I worked alongside Dave for 2 years as a middle and high school teacher in Huntington Park. He was the boys basketball coach and I was the boys soccer coach. We both quickly noticed the lack of positive male role models in the student’s lives and used the classroom and the basketball court / soccer field to help be a positive role model. So many of his students, both male and female appreciated Dave’s approachability and honesty. He was fair to all of his students but also maintained his classroom with clear boundaries. The students appreciated him and so did the staff.
