About David
I have worked with youth of all ages, have helped many succeed in their academic careers, and just want the best for the future generation. Spanish has always been my passion. My professor at HBU recommended me to tutor fellow students due to my capacity of not only learning quickly but being able to apply everything that was taught to me to my life verses just taking a Spanish course just to accommodate the "foreign language," courses. I have interpreted in Juvenile Courts, for families and for my current organization. My goal has always been to be proficient in the language because everyone deserves to be treated the same in this country.

I have been through the highest levels of Spanish academically as a student. I have patience and can relate to many students. I have also worked with students in previous jobs and can make sure that the material is understood and perfected before an exam. People always ask me why I majored in Spanish because I was taught it at a young age. My response is that just because you speak a language does not mean you know it all. I know Spanish from different countries, and I understand many cultures. Many people do not know this but certain words do not mean the same in other countries and you can unintentionally offend someone. I have extensive vocabulary and would like to share my knowledge of what I learned in school, but also what I have learned in my travels.
