About Julia
Hello! I'm Julia, and I have my Bachelor's of Science in Textiles. Throughout college, I had the privilege of tutoring and substitute teaching at The Trilogy School in Raleigh, NC. My passion for teaching stems from the joy of seeing students gain confidence and understanding in their studies. Through my work with Trilogy, I learned to adapt to each student's unique and individual needs. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where you can freely ask questions and explore concepts without fear of making mistakes. Students I have previously worked with have unique learning styles and struggled with traditional teaching methods. After observing their preferences, I tailored my approach to include more visual aids and hands-on activities. We used diagrams, charts, and physical objects to explain concepts. A personalized approach helps students grasp difficult topics more easily and boost their confidence.

Throughout college, I had the privilege of tutoring and substitute teaching for The Trilogy School in Raleigh, NC. I believe in making learning fun and engaging. In our sessions, we will focus on understanding concepts rather than just memorizing them. We will start with an initial assessment to determine strengths and weaknesses. From there, we will set goals: Do you want to improve your grades, prepare for a specific exam, or just get a better understanding of the subject? Through my work with Trilogy, I learned the benefits of interactive learning, adaptability, encouraging questions and positive reinforcement. I will provide regular feedback to both my students and their parents, and we will track progress throughout our sessions. As I do work full-time, I have availability in the evenings and weekends.
