About Emma
¡Hola!
My name is Emma. I have dual nationality of British and Spanish and I speak both languages to an advanced level. As I was not raised bilingual I taught myself Spanish, studying the language at GCSE & A-level, as well as embarking on an exchange trip where I lived in Spain attending school, and reached fluency in the language by studying in my spare time.
I have two qualifications in teaching gymnastics to children and adults aged 3-18, a job I worked in for 8 years! Because of this I have a very good understanding of session layouts for people of all ages and abilities.
I am obsessed with cats and baking, as well as going to the gym. I see a lot of my Spanish roots in me as I am very chatty, friendly and bubbly!

My sessions are very much catered to the needs of my pupil, I take into account what they want to study and how they prefer studying. I can adopt a more rigid structure to my sessions or I can be flexible and we can see what the pupil would like to do each week!
I do always recommend for a well-rounded Spanish education all variants are practised; speaking, listening, reading and writing. As well as indulging yourself in books, culture and Spanish music!
I am a university student but do not fret that I will be too busy or unable to deliver to my best ability, I had a job all three years of my bachelor's degree so I am well accustomed to time management!
