About Cecilia
My name is Cecilia, I am a music graduate from the University of Oxford where I was also a music scholar. I have been tutoring Music, English, Spanish, and given university application support (including mock interviews) for more than four years now.
I am a native Spanish speaker and received 100% in my Spanish GCSE and have a solid grasp and understanding of the exam system and all the GCSE exam boards.
Overall I have had huge success helping students with their official exams and more broadly equipping them with general knowledge and passion for the subject.

A typical length of my lessons in 1 hour, but I am happy to do more or less. My lessons are for all ages and levels up until GCSE.
I approach my lessons prepared and with enthusiasm. I like to get to know my students and adapt to their way of learning - I believe that encouragement and confidence is half the battle. In terms of teaching, I like to be efficient and target specific gaps in knowledge/skill using targeted lesson plans. This includes using past papers or specific exercises. I hope to enable my students with ride-ranging and applicable skills that will give them the confidence to approach their subject in whatever from it takes.
