About Jiayi

My name is Kitty, and I will be your new Chinese language teacher. As a graduate with a degree in International Chinese Education, I am dedicated to sharing my extensive knowledge of the Chinese language and culture with each of you. In my class, you will not only learn solid language skills but also gain a deep understanding of the rich traditions and customs of China. I look forward to supporting you in your studies and helping you achieve your language goals.

About the lesson

As a dedicated tutor, my approach focuses on personalized and interactive learning to ensure each student reaches their full potential.

Teaching Techniques and Methodology
I use a combination of traditional and modern teaching methods, incorporating multimedia tools, real-life scenarios, and engaging activities to make learning Chinese both fun and effective. My methodology is student-centered, adapting to the unique needs and learning styles of each student. I emphasize practical usage and cultural understanding to build a strong foundation in the language.

Length of a Lesson
Typically, my lessons are 60 minutes long. This duration allows us to cover new material, practice through interactive exercises, and review previous lessons to reinforce learning.

Qualifications and Experience
I hold a degree in International Chinese Education, with four years of specialized study in this field. Additionally, I have passed the written exam for the International Chinese Teacher Certificate. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's in Education at the University of New South Wales.

Target Audience
My lessons are designed for learners of all levels and ages, from young children to adults. Whether you are a beginner looking to start your journey in learning Chinese or an advanced learner aiming to refine your skills, I can tailor the lessons to meet your goals.

This approach ensures that each session is tailored to maximize student engagement and learning outcomes, creating a supportive and effective educational experience.
