About Lara
Began songwriting and performing as a teenager. Studying music performance at college, and then onto to graduate from Falmouth University in Popular Music. Have learnt valuable skills about how to convey meaning and make your songs stand out from others. Began my musical journey in an electro pop band touring London and supporting other bigger acts, then crossed over into varying genres and several other bands, gaining experience into what translates well for live performances. Have worked on countless collaborations and have found it is an important part of developing a unique style as it helps you to understand what skills you are able to bring to the songwriting process. Lyric writing can come more naturally to others and for others is a struggle. I would like to pass on the knowledge I have gained and ways I have learnt to develop this skill through my years as a songwriter.

A Graduate of Popular Music at Falmouth University. With over 15 years of songwriting and performance experience. Having been in several bands from all genres of music. I have been able to hone the craft. I now compose and write my own material, and would like to teach others to do the same. Sharing skills about lyric writing, structure and how to create that perfect hook. My approach to songwriting is to encourage creativity and to allow others to develop and find their unique style during the creative process.
