About Samyak
I'm Samyak, a British-Asian IB Student. I have a keen interest in Maths and achieved A1 (91%+) grades in both Combined Sciences and Mathematics. I was in India for the past few years, hence the different grading system, but rest assured I am proficient in GCSE Maths, as I have confirmed, the syllabus is all the same : )
Besides the curriculum, I also took part in the F1 in Schools STEM Competition, and lead my team to the National Round.

My online lessons are for Year 7—11(GCSE) Maths Students, of any age
They'll be about an hour each, but of course in exceptional circumstances, this is flexible (subject to my availability).
I love learning using analogies, like visual stories and silly acronyms, and have observed how much faster concepts are committed to memory this way. Therefore I teach my lessons similarly, while making sure my student has understood the main concept as described by the curriculum, and can explain it in their own words.
Throughout my online lesson, I'll be using a virtual whiteboard to make sure nothing my student can follow any steps alongside me, and have both a visual and auditory explanation.
Once I've become familiar with my student, I will create Lesson Plans before classes, influenced by strengths and weaknesses I've observed in them, and of course their prescribed school syllabus.
