About Jaden
I am a recent mathematics and philosophy graduate, and am passionate about many academic disciplines. I have a proficient understanding of both, and have the skillset to help you understand a range of mathematical topics with a conceptual framework. I have done lots of work related to mathematical education theory - I received a common core Mathematics teaching certificate from Loyola Marymount University and completed a senior honours project in Mathematical education. I have also completed a research project focused on applying an empathy model given by Dr. Rosenberg's "Nonviolent communication" in helping teach math more effectively. I have over 200 hours of experience teaching disciplines including math, physics, and chemistry. I was a mentor to 10 calculus BC students, organising weekly lessons and setting the learning pace. 9 of 10 scored perfect 5/5 on both AB and BC sections.

My lessons are highly engaging and tailored towards your academic objectives. While I have a strong mathematics background, I struggled a lot in middle and high school mathematics and understand the difficulty associated with learning it. As your tutor it is my responsibility to empathise with you when barriers are encountered, so that I can figure out a teaching approach that you understand. I communicate clearly and effectively, and have a down to earth personality so we can enjoy the process of learning all sorts of mathematical disciplines. My lessons are for anyone looking for some extra help with high school and University level courses.
