About Joshua
I began my dance journey at age 7 with the National Dance Institute, performing in Shanghai, China. This early exposure to the professional dance world sparked a passion that continues to drive their career today. Josh won a coveted spot in the Business of Dance program with Menina Fortunato, where he continues to develop his skills as a dance professional. Additionally, his inspiring life story and dance journey will soon be featured in Inside Dance magazine, showcasing his growth and dedication to the art form from childhood to today. They’ve since trained at top studios like Broadway Dance Center, KR3TS, Steps on Broadway, Brickhouse NYC, and Ripley Grier Studios, working with renowned choreographers such as Celine “BOOM” Edmondson, Jose Ramos, Johnathan Lee, Charles Edward Smith Jr., and Yancy Green. Their performance credits include dancing at the historic Alvin Ailey Theater, music videos for Lil Mama and Andrew Kinnecom, and performing at the Puerto Rican Day Festival with Violeta Galagarza. They’ve also collaborated on dance visuals with Q Pittman at Broadway Dance Center and worked closely with choreographer Amy Mitchell. These accomplishments reflect their determination to push creative boundaries while making a significant mark in the industry. Beyond their professional pursuits, Josh Garcia is committed to creating an inclusive dance experience for individuals of all ages, including the disabled community. Their vision is to use the gift of dance to help people find their true authenticity and make a positive impact on the world around them.

Joshua is a great teacher as he is dedicated to his craft. There’s no rush when learning something from him, he’s able to help break choreography down!
Joshua is authentic to his journey in dance. He has the passion to pass on everything that he has learned throughout his life, and he continues to learn so that his knowledge will expand and benefit those he teaches. With that said any one who takes his class will show improvement.
He is also has a fun personality and that will help in making his student comfortable in the class and more open to learning.
He has been very committed to his passion of dancing and I’m sure he’ll be great at teaching it to the youth.
