Hello! I'm Samira M. Tampogao, a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT) and a graduate of Mariano Marcos State University with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education.
As an accredited DepEd tutor, I have experience helping elementary learners improve their academic skills through personalized, engaging, and learner-centered instruction. I believe that every learner has the ability to succeed when given the right guidance, encouragement, and learning approach. As a Licensed Professional Teacher and an accredited DepEd tutor, I create a positive, patient, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
My teaching method focuses on learner-centered instruction. I begin each lesson by reviewing previous concepts, introducing the new topic through simple explanations and real-life examples, and guiding students through practice activities. I use interactive strategies such as games, storytelling, visual aids, worksheets, and hands-on activities to keep lessons engaging and meaningful. I also provide regular feedback and short assessments to monitor each learner's progress and adjust my teaching based on their needs.
A typical lesson includes a warm-up or review, discussion of the new lesson, guided practice, independent exercises, and a short evaluation to ensure the learner understands the topic before moving on.
What sets me apart is my patience, dedication, and ability to adapt my teaching style to each student's learning needs. My background in Early Childhood Education has equipped me with effective strategies for teaching young learners, while my experience as a DepEd tutor has strengthened my ability to support students with different learning abilities and academic levels.
My lessons are designed for preschool and elementary learners, particularly those who need assistance in Reading, English, Filipino, Mathematics, and Science. I also provide homework assistance, reading intervention, and review sessions to help learners build confidence, improve academic performance, and develop a love for learning.
