About Lucia
I am an Italian pianist, bilingual in English. I first graduated in Italy, then got a Master's degree in London and a second degree in Italy. I have been teaching, accompanying and performing for many years.
I have taught all ages and levels and I adapt my teaching method according to the student and his or her needs and objectives, always trying to convey the notions, the study method and the strategies to become as autonomous as possible.

I have been teaching piano since 2012.
I have had the opportunity to teach students of various ages and levels: from 4/5 year olds who are just starting out, teenagers and young adults who are already familiar with music and the piano, to adults who are both beginners and advanced.
With children, I keep the lesson focused on having fun at the piano, familiarizing them with the keyboard, rhythm and music through exercises that also stimulate their creativity, but I also stress the importance of discipline and daily practice.
With more advanced students and adults, I include theoretical notions and technical aspects, using the pieces we are studying, chosen according to the student's tastes and the technical/musical/expressive aspect to be addressed.
I also prepare for the ABRSM exams or other certifications.
