About Ethan
Having taken Latin for seven years, and having earned a 4.0 GPA studying it in 8th-10th grade, I feel qualified to help almost any beginner student. This past May, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Great Hearts Irving, a liberal arts school known for its rigorous curriculum. I also attend the Traditional Latin Mass every week, so I constantly have an opportunity to try to exercise what I have learned.

After studying Latin for many years, I began to tutor a student in Latin in while I was in high school, and I found that I did a pretty good job. Being a recent high school graduate, I haven't developed any formal method of teaching yet. Instead, I work closely with the student and try help them work out their personal problems with the subject material. I am a very committed person, and I will take whatever steps are necessary to further my own education in order to better teach my students. My goal is to increase my own knowledge as my students increase theirs. I have only taught middle-schoolers prior to this point, but I would be more than happy to teach younger children, and anyone just beginning to learn Latin is welcome to apply for tutoring.
