About MelissaMae
I am from Bicol, the lovely country of the Philippines. I'm a kind, patient, joyful, friendly, and helpful person. I have experience in both traditional and online settings. My favorite part of being a teacher is helping my students achieve their objectives and witnessing their growth and development as learners.
I've been a private school teacher for about a year. My primary duties include teaching Filipino and other subjects to elementary and junior high school students. I am also a volunteer tutor. As a volunteer tutor, I instruct young students in writing, counting, and reading in Tagalog, Filipino, and simple English. Additionally, I have a TEFL certification.

What can you expect from my class?
As we gain proficiency, let's start with the fundamental Tagalog terms. We'll work on word formation using Tagalog and practice pronouncing and understanding words.
We engage in games, reading, brainstorming, and other activities. To create an engaging and interactive learning environment, I make use of instructional tools, including image flashcards, PowerPoint as a tool, audio recordings, and several other resources.
