About Julian
Hi, I am Julian from Colombia and I'm currently living in Dubai. I have played the guitar for more than 20 years, mostly classical guitar but also popular music like rock and pop. I studied guitar and music in Colombia and I have a DMA from Stony Brook University at NY with Jerry Willard. I have played in different venues in Colombia and NY where in 2011 I won a concert competition to play the famous Aranjuez concert for guitar and orchestra by Joaquin Rodrigo. Teaching is one aspect of music that I appreciate and cherish. Getting to know new people and guiding them to learn music brings me joy every time. I can teach students as young as 5 years old to people in their golden years. Every level and genre you want to learn will be welcome in my lessons. Music is one of the greatest things in life and I'm happy to be part of it.
