About Jade
I am a guitar tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Guitar Performance. My lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, from beginner to advanced, focusing on authentic blues mastery. I specialise in slide guitar techniques, open tunings, and fingerpicking styles. Students explore multiple regional blues traditions, including Delta, Chicago, and Piedmont styles. My teaching style is supportive, motivating, and structured to build confidence and skill. The Blues Seeker and The Aspiring Rock Star receive guidance to turn inspiration into fully realised songs. I focus on developing melody, harmony, and rhythm skills that support expressive songwriting. Each session encourages experimentation with chords, lyrics, and musical storytelling. Students learn to arrange their pieces for solo or ensemble performance. I emphasise practical exercises and real-world application of musical concepts. Lessons build confidence in composing and performing original music. I help learners develop a personal musical voice through structured guidance. Creativity, technique, and expression are all nurtured simultaneously. Every session is interactive, motivating, and tailored to individual goals.
