I have been teaching for a couple of decades, and played in succesful bands, opening for national touring acts, winning a battle of the bands and being interviewed on radio.

I focus on breaking down each subject, both from a musical perspective and a physical technique perspective so that the student learns the new material but also does not develop any bad habits that would be detrimental in later practice.
I also make sure that the student practices good posture and stretching techniques to avoid long-term problems.
