About Serhii
Hi there! My name is Serhii and I am a passionate musician and guitar teacher. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Pedagogical Music Education and have been teaching guitar for over 13 years.
I started off as a volunteer guitar teacher at Music Camp International back in 2009 and eventually became a guitar teacher at Maestro Guitar Studio from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, I established the Serenada Guitar School, where I take pride in teaching students of all ages and abilities.
As a coach and instructor, I not only strive to help my students become better players but also to develop their confidence and overall love for music. I firmly believe that learning music should be a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone.
In recognition of my contributions to the field of guitar music education, I was named an honorary member of the Ukrainian Guitarists Association from 2012 to 2020.

Welcome to my guitar lessons on Superprof! As a classical and acoustic guitar teacher, my goal is to help you achieve your musical aspirations. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, I believe there's always room for growth and improvement in your guitar playing.
My lessons are tailored to your individual needs and learning style. We will work together to develop a personalized curriculum that incorporates your goals, interests, and skill level. You can expect to cover topics such as proper technique, music theory, ear training, sight-reading, and repertoire building.
As a classical guitar teacher, I place a great emphasis on developing strong fundamentals and a meticulous approach to playing. We will work on developing a beautiful tone, efficient finger and hand positioning, and fluidity in your playing. I'll help you cultivate a skillset that will enable you to play with confidence and expressiveness.
As an acoustic guitar teacher, I understand the importance of versatility in playing styles. We will explore different strumming patterns, chord progressions, and picking techniques to build a strong foundation for any genre of music you're interested in.
In addition to technical skills, I strive to instill a passion for music in my students. My lessons are designed to be engaging, informative, and fun. I believe that when you're having fun, you're more likely to retain information and enjoy the learning process.
