About Simone
Hi all! I'm Diego, an Argentine guitarist based in Palma de Mallorca. I started playing the guitar at 13 years old. It was from the song "Come as you are" by Nirvana that I couldn't stop playing and learning. I left my hometown to study guitar at the University of La Plata, Buenos Aires Argentina, where I graduated as a teacher. At the same time, I dedicated myself to studying with the guitarists of the contemporary jazz scene that I liked the most. Mono Monk (jazz ensemble), Masantonio (tribute to John Scofield), Big Band by Gustavo Cortajerena, are some of the experiences in group format within the jazz style. Then I dedicated myself to the production and realization of a personal author music project that culminated in the release of my first album. I worked at the Municipal School of Art for 5 years taking the guitar course for children, adolescents and adults. I was Professor of Musical Language for the Higher Institute of Teaching and Technical Training No 8 and Professor of Music in 2 schools in my city.
