I have been playing guitar for 25+ years. I have instructed students of all ages over the years, from beginner to advanced. I focus on music that students want to learn, and I provide detailed transcriptions that include standard notation and guitar tablature. I also provide guitar exercises for building skills and I explain music theory in the context of what the student is learning. I am versed in pickstyle, and fingerstyle guitar and I am familiar with rock, blues, pop, r&b, funk, and jazz genres.
