About Ivy
I am a passionate Guitar tutor with 12 years of experience in teaching and professional music practice. I teach students from school to college level and support them in building strong musical skills.
From the beginning of my career, my goal has been to make music learning simple, enjoyable, and meaningful. One of my proud milestones is helping many students move from beginner level to performing confidently in public programmes and competitions.
I focus on step-by-step learning — starting from basic chords and strumming to advanced techniques and song performance. I also teach the importance of rhythm, timing, and regular practice. I believe consistency is the key to success.
I understand that every student is different. That is why I adapt my teaching style based on their learning speed and goals. I create a supportive space where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
Teaching guitar gives me great satisfaction because I see how music builds confidence, creativity, and discipline in students. My mission is to inspire young learners to follow their passion and enjoy the beautiful journey of music.

My Guitar teaching approach combines Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity for effective learning. I believe progress happens when students feel inspired and guided properly.
Motivation keeps students consistent. I help them track their progress and achieve goals step by step. I use songs and exercises that match their level to maintain interest.
Communication is always open. I explain every lesson clearly and encourage questions. I make sure students understand both practical and theoretical concepts.
Integrity in my teaching means I focus on quality learning. I teach proper hand position, chord clarity, rhythm accuracy, and musical expression. I guide students to practise with discipline and patience.
Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, chord exploration, and style variations. Apart from Guitar, I also teach basic music theory, rhythm skills, and performance preparation to develop complete musicianship.
