About Elara
I am a passionate guitar tutor with over 11 years of playing and teaching experience, holding a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance. Music has always been more than practice for me; it is expression, storytelling, and connection. I love composing and arranging music for solo guitar and ensembles, exploring rich harmonies and creative textures.
My teaching style is supportive, engaging, and goal driven. I work with dedicated students, serious hobbyists, and professionals who want structured growth and artistic clarity. I specialise in scales, modes, rhythm development, songwriting, and confident performance preparation. Technique and musicality always grow together in my lessons.
I guide Intermediate to Advanced learners and aspiring professionals towards refined tone, strong stage presence, and deeper theoretical understanding. We focus on precision, creativity, and real world application. Each session is practical, inspiring, and tailored to your goals. My teaching approach is structured clear and student centred.
I guide learners from strong foundations to confident performance with a balance of technique creativity and theory.
We begin with ergonomic posture hand positioning and relaxed movement to prevent strain and build control.
Open chords power chords and smooth chord transitions are mastered step by step.
I train finger dexterity through progressive exercises scales arpeggios and rhythm drills.
Ear training is part of every lesson so students can recognise intervals chord quality and progressions by sound.
Music theory is explained in simple ways including Roman Numeral Chord Nomenclature harmony song structure and improvisation concepts.
Students learn to apply theory directly on the fretboard not just on paper.
