I am Gustavo, a native Portuguese speaker and fluent in English with vast experience teaching English as a second language. I am a very friendly, enthusiastic, and supportive tutor, previously working in language schools, currently giving private lessons.
I have been living in different countries for the last 7 years, Italy, Ireland, and the UK. I´ll be more than happy to bring cultural and personal/ professional experiences to the class.
I speak a good level of Spanish, Italian and French, so I would be able to help translate those languages for beginner students who need extra help.

The teaching method is focused on human development, exploring all language skills (writing, speaking, listening, and reading). With a strong incentive to spoken communication, the student will also be encouraged to express ideas with different topics. For that, I customise the right materials and tools to achieve your goals.
Learners engage in evaluative and analytical tasks that are provided to ensure they do all the thinking and information-gathering required for speaking tasks.
As part of the class flipped classroom material to develop writing and reading skills will be provided previously in the next class. And other specific materials according to students’ goals.
