About Carla
I was born in Burgos, Spain and moved to California when I was 6 years old. In my house, however, we almost always spoke in Spanish. I grew up doing theater and am a working musical theater actress currently working in Madrid. I love helping people better their Spanish, and my whole life I've helped my friends either start learning the language or perfect it.

For anyone that is at a conversational level, we would practice having conversations about our day to get the student comfortable sharing their life in Spanish. I know it can be scary or even embarrassing speaking a new language around native speakers, so I want to make sure that the student is comfortable having an out loud conversation because only studying the grammar isn't helpful putting it into practice.
For total beginners, I would have some worksheets set up to get started on the basics of how to start speaking the language.
