About Gaby
My name is Gaby Gerges. Being an experienced physics teacher,
After receiving my license physics degree from, I started teaching physics for secondary level 30 years ago in one of the distinguished schools in Lebanon (Brummana high school)founded from130 years by British Quakers, I started my career teaching the Lebanese national curriculum, then with the reintroduction of international programs in the school I took the challenge with the intention to broaden my teaching experience and started teaching IGCSE, A levels preparing my students to pass the Cambridge international examinations, then with the admission of the IB DP program 6 years ago I continued my endeavor and took the opportunity to prepare for the new program benefiting the maximum from the professional development openings that this program can offer.

During my long career, I was keen to engage myself in professional development events , attending many workshops on teaching strategies,supervision of IA and EE, assessment and use of ICT in physics teaching, specifically I did one CIE workshop in Dubai and four IB workshops in Europe.
I supervised EEs and many IAs and I can proudly say that approximately all my students achieved a 7 in IAs and A in EEs.. Additionally, I tutor online and skillfuly using most of the common platforms. All the students that I taught noticed a lot of improvement in their grades and passed their exams. I am well equipped with convenient hardware and software to teach efficiently online, and can confidently say that my online teaching is as productive as in person teaching
I also tutored students preparing for SAT II Physics subject test and AP physics courses and helped them to achieve very good results.
