About Daphne
I am a singing tutor with 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, specialising in jazz and blues improvisation. I teach scat singing, melodic embellishment, and harmony, helping singers develop their personal style. Lessons focus on ear training, scale theory, and practical application. I emphasise technique, expression, and musical understanding equally. Each session is tailored to the student’s level and goals. I guide singers in building confidence, creativity, and improvisational skills. Performance skills, phrasing, and stylistic authenticity are integral to every lesson. Improvisation is made approachable through structured exercises and guided experimentation. Students learn to connect emotionally and musically with every performance. I encourage exploration while maintaining solid technique. My aim is to help singers grow into expressive, versatile, and confident performers. Lessons are engaging, personalised, and effective.

I teach singing with a focus on developing strong, healthy vocal technique. Breath control and diaphragmatic support are central to every lesson. I provide exercises to build stamina and vocal endurance. Students learn to sing longer, more powerful phrases without strain. I prioritise vocal health while enhancing tone, range, and expressiveness. The Suzuki Student and The Orchestra Member receive tailored exercises to ensure stability and consistency. Lessons also cover articulation, phrasing, and dynamic control. I guide students through step-by-step exercises for safe, progressive improvement. Sessions are interactive, structured, and focused on growth. Students gain confidence and expressive freedom in their singing. I emphasise consistent practice and mindful technique. Every singer develops control, resilience, and clarity. My goal is to help learners sing stronger, longer, and healthier.
