About Ana
I have a long-standing career in teaching Portuguese to foreigners. I have taught all modules of the language (basic, intermediate, advanced, business, conversation, culture, literature and others) to thousands of students in different formats (face-to-face lessons in a normal classroom, individual classes, group classes at different venues, business classes at the client's workplace, digital platforms, etc.) I have a BA Honours Degree in Portuguese Language and Literature and a MA Degree in Translation (Portuguese, English, French and Italian), both from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.

I have created my own teaching manuals, tailor-made to meet the requirements of foreign students. I combine various methodologies (conventional, unconventional, blended learning) and bring passion, excitement and a lot of energy to every single lesson. I create a relaxed atmosphere, where students are perfectly at ease. I use many songs and videos in class as a learning/working tool.
