About Lerato
I have always had a desire for knowledge, a desire to help people especially with reaching their potential. When i was a child, I consistently read advanced nonfiction books which I was given to by my father who is an English teacher and he made me fall in love with teaching and the English language so I started tutoring and helping people improve their English at a very young age. This provided me with extra income, and he quickly developed a clientele and this helped me with my independence and being able to pay for school and continue my studies.
In my spare time, I love reading and watching documentaries. I like doing research about everything and anything and also watching movies and exploring different parts of the world, I absolutely love swimming and being around nature.

I would describe my teaching style as coaching or conversational, being patient and kind. Instead of offering answers to my students, I try to ask the right questions and build confidence and also have a conversation, and with the help of demonstration and group activities they should find the answers. I try to help my students develop critical thinking and creativity abilities, and that’s exactly why I prefer coaching to lecturing. I just try to prepare my students better for the challenges they will face in the world. I would describe it as highly adaptable. I do not really prefer one teaching method, or one way of interacting with the students in the classroom environment. Because in my opinion, each lesson is different, and a good teacher should always adjust their teaching to their audience, the level of discipline in the class, the difficulty of the lesson, and so on. I simply prefer individual approach to teaching. So far it has been working great, so I have no reason to doubt the effectiveness of my teaching style.
