About Sofi
I’m a highly qualified music teacher with teaching certifications in Oklahoma and Oregon. I have also participated in ample professional development post-grad, including (but not limited to) my certification in Kodály Concepts Levels 1 and 2.
Throughout my career as a musician and educator, I have also kept a healthy performance resume. I have placed in competitions for both classical and musical theatre singing, and am regularly called to perform as a freelance singer for various local and touring organizations.

As a lifelong lover of music, I know how important access to private lessons can be. As a young student, I did not have consistent access to private lessons, but the few lessons I was able to take greatly impacted the trajectory of my career. It has been a goal of mine to make music lessons more accessible for people who may not have been able to take lessons in the past, regardless of the reason.
My students have gone on to receive their dream roles in school/community performances, have made All-Region and All-State choirs, and most importantly, have seen a significant improvement in both their skills and confidence as musicians. Everyone is unique, as are their dreams. I’m looking forward to working together to meet YOUR musical goals.
