About Sharon
Originally from Houston, Texas I attended high school at the North Carolina School of the Arts. After that I went to train at the Hartford Ballet School and Company where I worked with Truman Finney. I also danced with Boulder Ballet under the direction of John Prinz. After retiring I continued to take class and teach in NYC, the dance Mecca.

I have worked with some of the best dancers and teachers in the business. I have over 20 years of experience teaching and classwork ranging from 10 years of age to adult, both beginning and advanced. Before I moved here 5 years ago I was teaching and dancing ballet in NYC and surrounding areas. My focus is on sound technique, musicality, and the joy of moving. I currently teach adult ballet at Houston Ballet.
