About Young
I have taught 208 students over 6 years. Truthfully, I still get nervous before a big performance.
I specialize in vibrato control and head and chest voice. Pitch control and microphone technique are staples of my routine.
I also teach warm-up exercises and breathing control. Tone and resonance are vital here. We will also cover sight singing and performance confidence. It is fun to watch progress.

Starting out, we might just look at your current range. I find that most singers need better breathing control before they try anything complex. My background as a Humber graduate means I prioritize healthy technique over everything else. After we cover the basics, we track your growth over these 8 sections.
I assign homework vocal drills after every session to keep you sharp. Having taught 208 students, I have seen every common issue. I really enjoy watching students find their true tone. It is a rewarding process for both of us.
