About Toby
I am Toby Silcock.
I believe in living your dreams and that adversity is not some thing to be shied away from, but confronted and over come.
I started my first business in London. It was a security company that provided personal protection to people that need it.
I moved to Australia in 2001 and designed, built and operated four of Melbournes most successfulbars and restaurants and sold the last one in 2017.
I have experienced trauma in business, relationship, and addiction. All of which, with help, I have over come. Its now my turn to give back to those who need the knowledge I have acquired over a life time.
Then I figured that since I have been dealing with many different personalities through my businesses, I would go to University and find out what makes us really tick.
I have a Bachelor (first class honours) in psychology and months away from completing a master of clinical psychology. I have over 20 years experience in life and business.

You are the expert in your life.
Together, we will explore what is preventing you from being a better you. We will turn erroneous thoughts and their associated feelings into positive narratives and achievable goals.
I look at each individual holistically, considering environment, culture, ability, and socio-economic background and building a realistic view of life. Together, we then implement interventions to help you overcome barriers.
We will incorporate many different preventive psychological treatments, such as CBT, Talk therapy, and Solution-based interventions.
I have over 20 years of experience, and six of them are based on empirically measured psychology.
