The Feynman Technique: I explain complex theories using basic analogies. Once I teach a concept, I have the student explain it back to me in their own words to instantly catch any logical gaps.
Scaffolded Problem Solving: I never just hand over answers. We solve the first problem together (100% guidance), the second problem with prompts (50% guidance), and the third problem independently (0% guidance).
Visual Conceptualization: Math is often taught as abstract rules. I use digital whiteboards or sketches to visually show why a formula works (e.g., showing how a derivative represents a slope on a graph) before making them memorize it.
Gamified Quick-Fire Quizzes: I start or end sessions with rapid, low-stakes mental math or formula recall games to build immediate speed and mental confidence.
