About Ariana
My goal is simply to create a space where you can solidify your skills and knowledge, boosting the confidence and ability I know you already have, to best excel in both English Literature and Language - at whatever your respective level or individual objectives are.
Having once been in the same daunting and exciting position many of you are in awaiting your SATs, GCSE's or A-Level exams, I know the value of a mentor who understands how to cater to your individual needs and can help you achieve your utmost capability.
When I'm not teaching, I am most probably updating my Letterboxd account (so yes, I would love to hear all about your TV and Film recommendations), tending to my home garden or on set directing a new project.
I believe my commitment to creating an encouraging space for learning sets me apart as a tutor you can trust to help you achieve the best your capability.

What a better way of displaying my own skills than writing a captivating brief for my lessons. All jokes aside, my main goal is to create a space that best caters to the individual needs of each student.
Through conversation based learning I will establish a regiment that best suits the various different styles of learning each student adopts; this alone will allow me to formulate regular appropriate assessments, tasks strengthening the foundational grammar and vocabulary that one uses at specific levels of proficiency and opportunities to develop both creative writing and analysis amongst others.
Whilst I aim to offer lessons in two hour long blocks, as I feel this works best, this can be altered to best suit the schedules of prospective students. Lessons can be scheduled as many or as few times a week one wishes between the openings I have available.
I achieved top grades in both GCSE and A-Level English Literature and went on to maintain a rather prominent love for both literature analysis and writing itself. I honed in on such skills and passion for the subject as I took on a theoretical Film Studies degree for 4 years.
I am ready and willing to take on SATs, GCSE and A-Level students of different proficiency levels as I believe I can cater my teaching appropriately and create exciting results. All in all I wish to create a space where one feels comfortable to learn and chase after results everyone is capable of achieving with some focused work. English can be and is fun, and I'll prove it!
