About Declan
I'm a part-time student of Physics and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Sydney. Throughout my high school career, I've been formally and informally mentoring and tutoring my peers in a range of TCE subjects, helping them to extend beyond the course, develop their intuitions and improve their grades. In 2020, I achieved an ATAR of 98.70 after completing the TCE.

I'm a high-achieving university student and I teach TCE (or interstate high school) students who are taking Physical Science, Chemistry, Physics, or Maths Methods. I can also tutor in Year 10s that are leading into these subjects. My teaching method is a personalised balance between developing relevant problem-solving skills (vital for exam success!) and teaching content. The proportion of each is unique to each individual student; in this way, I can teach anyone at any level!

Details
I generally don't teach students for one-off lessons, except for exam preparation. In the first lesson, the student and I will develop a personalised plan that specifically caters to the student's needs and desires and helps me identify what we will focus on in future lessons. If I need to travel >40 minutes to a lesson, then I will ask to negotiate an additional travel rate.
