About Shekinah
I've been a creative writing major at Milwaukee High School of the Arts for a year, though I've had experience in creative writing for a little over 4 years now. I myself had a tutor in ELA for a while in elementary school and I have an excellent understanding in what tutoring styles work the best which is evident in my awards from school throughout the years. I have experience in almost all areas of Literature and even own a book of Shakesphere's plays, sonnets, and long poems that my teacher gave to me in 6th grade.

A typical lession with me will consist of finding what my pupil is passionate about and helping them to channel said passion through their writing, whether that be a story, poem, argumentive essay, etc. My most preferred style of teaching is introducing things to my pupils in a way that i'm sure they'll understand by finding out their interests and skill levels and personalizing the lesson plan to fit their specific needs. My lessons are for anybody from middle schoolers who may need help with writing essays to college students who want some refreshing.
